Note to All HLADE Members & Friends
Fron Linda Heller:
I am sorry I have not been in touch more. I really have not been feeling my energetic self for a month. I had this sinus infection for a month and it really took its toll on me and just would not go away.
I had all I could do every day to go to work, go home, do schoolwork and go to bed as I was not sleeping nights! As of last Saturday, I started to feel more normal!
So I am way behind on HLADE, newsletters and have just been doing the absolute necessary stuff. Like answering all the emails and phone calls from everyone that calls HLADE for help and mailing out letters and info to people.
Then, our HLADE taxes are due so that is taking some time too and they are due soon! People don’t realize all there is to running an organization with no staff, small board and few volunteers!
However, I am moving forward with some new initiatives now that I am back in the saddle!
I would like to give “Special Thanks!” to Barbara L.Golt, President of the Rebekah Assembly of DE for choosing the Hearing Loss Association of Delaware as their annual fundraising project for 2009!
All Rebekah lodges in Delaware will be raising funds for HLADE!
