Hearing Loss Association of Delaware
Hearing Loss Academy

WHO: Classes are for consumers, family members, professionals, businesses and schools.

Customized classes for your group or organization on-site by request. The classes listed can last an hour or more and can run up to six weeks.

Instructors are professionals such as audiologists, speech pathologists, and interpreters with experience in teaching.

Cost for one one-hour class per week for six weeks is $70 and include all materials. Some classes may be one hour or shorter Introductory versions of the classes listed below and are available for free through our Speaker's Bureau, so please check our Speaker's Bureau list on this web site for a list of free lectures.

Private classes or instruction may be arranged and a negotiated individual rate by request.

When / Where:

The 2006 class schedule will be released soon. Classes are held in New Castle County and at other selected sites, as requested, in Kent and Sussex County.

Classes will be are held at our 2400 West 4th street office in Wilmington. We will also schedule classes in the areas where 10 or more people want the class to be held.

Such classes may be conducted at libraries, community centers, senior centers, health care clinics or facilities, businesses, schools, churches or private agencies or organizations.
