Deaf Mom's Club of Delaware
There's been a growing need of Deaf mothers and mothers who have a deaf/hard-of-hearing child for support systems.
With this support, there are many reasons how this can be beneficial:
For deaf/hard-of-hearing child, gain more visual access to sign language
For mothers of deaf/H.H. child, they can gain more in-person access to sign language in order to communicate with their child
For deaf/HH child, have role models to look up to and communicate with their peers who knows sign language
With deaf parents of hearing children, the hearing children can gain self-esteem and awareness of their identity as a Child of Deaf Adult (KODA)
For all of us, have access to where we can meet socially, even events that does not have sign language access.
Much, much more...
